The Municipal Sanitation Company Ltd. (Miejskie Przedsiębiorstwo Oczyszczania Spółka z o.o.) is the largest company in Toruń dedicated to maintaining streets and squares in purity, removal and disposal of wastes, as well as landfill management.

In addition to operations related to maintaining the cleanliness in the city, the Municipal Sanitation Company Ltd. organises activities related to the natural environment protection, including, e.g. selective waste collections divided into waste paper, plastics, packaging glass and bio-wastes, whose primary aim is maximum recovery of useful wastes and its re-use. Shaping ecological habits among inhabitants at a level which allows for acceptation and application of the waste collection system in households is also an important factor.
