The Paid Parking Zone is located in the Old Town of Toruń and in the city areas adjacent to the Old Town. Parking in designated areas along streets in the Zone is chargeable.

Resolution of the City Council of Toruń (Resolution No. 222/11 of the City Council of Toruń of 15 December 2011) regulates both the size of the Zone, and parking fees. In accordance with local regulations, fees for parking motor vehicles on public roads in the Paid Parking Zone in Toruń are collected on working days i.e. from Monday to Friday, from 8.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m., and on Saturdays from 9.00 a.m. to 3.00 p.m.

How to pay for parking in the Paid Parking Zone?

• purchase a parking ticket in a parking meter - use coins of the nominal value of: PLN 0.10, PLN 0.20, PLN 0.50, PLN 1.00, PLN 2.00, and PLN 5.00
• use a chip card
• purchase parking subscription
• using a mobile phone, through the Mobilet service.

Subscriptions
Drivers constantly parking in the Old Town can buy the following subscriptions:

• for the residents of the Old Town
• for the disabled
• for entities conducting economic activity in the Paid Parking Zone
• regular (normal)
• reserved parking space (parking envelope)

Parking for the disabled

Disabled persons can enjoy special privileges while parking their cars in the Paid Parking Zone - both as regards specifically designated and marked parking spaces, and low prices of subscriptions. Please be aware that people with a “disabled person’s parking card” who do not park their vehicles on a space specially designated for them and marked, or do not have their subscription, are obliged to pay fees for parking their vehicles in the Paid Parking Zone on the general principles.

Did you fail to pay for parking in the Zone or exceeded your parking time?

In this case, controllers working in the Paid Parking Zone will charge you with an additional fee for not paying for parking your vehicle in the Paid Parking Zone. An additional fee is PLN 30.00 (if it is paid within five days from the date of the summons), or PLN 50.00 (if it is paid after five days from the date of the summons).

An additional fee must be paid at the cash desk of the Right-of-Way Service Office (Biuro Obsługi Pasa Drogowego) of the Municipal Road Management or by a bank transfer to the bank account of the Municipal Road Management (Bank Millennium in Toruń 42 11 60 22 02 0000 0000 32 127 127), on a basis of the summons issued by a controller working in the Paid Parking Zone, and placed behind a windscreen wiper of your vehicle.
